-Torture class cruiser The Bliss of Pain<\/em>, Launch Bays, Mimic Engines<\/p>\n -Torture class cruiser Osan’gar<\/em>, Phantom Lance, Mimic Engines<\/p>\n -Torture class cruiser Aran’gar<\/em>, Phantom Lance, Mimic Engines<\/p>\n -Corsair Escort x4 Red Teardrops,<\/em> Phantom Lance, Mimic Engines<\/p>\n -Corsair Escort x3 Razorlace<\/em>, Torpedoes, Mimic Engines<\/p>\n -Corsair Escort x4, The Chosen<\/em>, Impaler Assault Modules, Mimic Engines<\/p>\n ———————————————————————-<\/p>\n Stephen – Imperial Navy – 750 points (attacker)<\/p>\n -Admiral (Ld8) (aboard the Lance Dauntless)<\/p>\n -Lunar class cruiser<\/p>\n -Dauntless light cruiser, lance<\/p>\n -Dauntless light cruiser, torpedoes<\/p>\n -Sword class frigate x3<\/p>\n -Sword class frigate x3<\/p>\n -Cobra class destroyer x3<\/p>\n ———————————————————————-<\/p>\n Setup<\/p>\n Due to my Mimic Engines, I took a free move before the game began.<\/p>\n ———————————————————————-<\/p>\n Turn 1 – Dark Eldar<\/p>\n Lucky me, I got first turn!\u00a0 Razorlace<\/em> goes on Come to a New Heading and fire Leech Torpedoes at the Torpedo Dauntless, causing a Brace and two Leech effects.\u00a0 The Osan’gar<\/em> and The Bliss of Pain<\/em> do three damage to the Lance Dauntless.\u00a0 The Chosen<\/em> take out one of the Cobras with batteries, while their Impalers and the Aran’gar<\/em> destroy one of the Sword squadrons.\u00a0 The Red Teardrops<\/em> cripple the Lunar.<\/p>\n Leech Torpedoes put the slowdown the Torpedo Dauntless as the Lance Dauntless takes fire from two cruisers, crippling it.<\/p>\n The Swords are wiped out, and the Lunar takes some severe damage, smashing its bridge!<\/p>\n Turn 1 – Imperial Navy<\/p>\n Surviving Sword squadron locks on, but does only one damage to the Osan’gar.\u00a0 <\/em>Remaining fire is under the effect of Brace For Impact and so can’t really do much.\u00a0 Torpedo Dauntless rolls spectacularly and fixes both Leech results!<\/p>\n Leech Torpedoes put the slowdown on the Dauntless as the Swords try Lock On to damage the Osan’gar.\u00a0 Good brace save protect it mostly.<\/p>\n Brace for impact plus being crippled equals not a lot of firepower.<\/p>\n The Cobras make a break for it.<\/p>\n Turn 2 – Dark Eldar<\/p>\n Razorlace<\/em> reloads and fires regular torpedoes which eat it in a blast marker.\u00a0 Most of the rest of the fleet finish off the Lunar as The Chosen<\/em> remove the Cobras.<\/p>\n Torpedoes have little effect when they don’t get there due to stupid Blast Markers.<\/p>\n The Lunar is reduced to a blazing hulk.<\/p>\n Cobras are no more.<\/p>\n Turn 2 – Imperial Navy<\/p>\n Torpedo Dauntless goes on All Ahead Full to get away, as the rest of the fleet makes a break for it.<\/p>\n Turn 3 – Dark Eldar<\/p>\n The Osan’gar<\/em> boards the Lance Dauntless and takes it out.\u00a0 Fire from Razorlace<\/em> removes the Swords.<\/p>\n Here comes trouble.<\/p>\n Turn 3 – Imperial Navy<\/p>\n Surviving Dauntless goes on All Ahead Full.<\/p>\n Will he get away?<\/p>\n Turn 4 – Dark Eldar<\/p>\n![\"DSCF1557\"](\"http:\/\/fourstrandshobby.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/DSCF1557.jpg\")
